TomTom ONE Europe Reviews
Sussex to the French Alps
Here's my experience of the TomTom One Europe.
I drove from Sussex to the French Alps using this SatNav and it was brilliant. With stops on the way it took about 10 hours and with two under 5 year olds in the car it was important I did not get lost.
As with most journeys with kids toilet stops and food breaks were important. It was also important that when we needed to do these stops we did not want to dirvert far from our main route.
This is where TomTom One came into it's own. I could get it to find a food stop on my route without having to divert very much at all. I could just ask it to find me somehwere on route and it would give me a big list every time with options as to how far they were. Brilliant!
The only down side I found is that if I started moving before the Unit had locked on, it took ages to get locked on. So I would have to stop and wait for it to do it's business.
I have since found that there is an update for this problem which I have installed though TomTom Home software and it works fine now.
